KTH Live-in Lab on IVA’s 100 list
KTH Live-in Lab is one of 100 current research projects with potential to create value for Swedish business and society.
For the third year in a row, Research2Business – a project within the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) – has presented IVA's annual 100 list. All projects on the list, which were chosen by an expert selection committee, are judged to have the potential to create value for Swedish society or industry. In addition, the selected research projects meet the criterion of ”sustainable preparedness for future crises”, which has been the focus of this year's list.
KTH Live-in Lab (LIL) offers a full-scale test environment, comprising everything from buildings and installations to housing, and was created for increased innovation in the construction and real estate sector. At LIL, we currently have 14 active projects, several of which are linked to the key project Co-kitchen – a co-living with the aim to contribute to achieving four of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals .
